Necklift Improving patient results and care
Benefits of a neck lift include providing a smooth contour of the neck, better defining the jawline, removing excess skin and fat tissue under the chin that gives a turkey neck appearance, smoothen wrinkles, creases, and folds, and give a more defined angle between the neck and jawline.

Description: During a neck lift procedure Dr. Olivier A. Deigni places incisions below the chin and behind the ears. Any excess fatty tissues are removed by liposuction and direct excision. The muscles are then tightened, and any excess skin is trimmed. The remaining skin is redraped and sutured in place to provide a more youthful contour and shape to the neck and lower face.
Surgery: A neck lift is performed under general anesthesia and can take 2 – 4 hours depending on whether it is performed in conjunction with liposuction or a facelift.
Recovery: Swelling and bruising improves by 1 – 2 weeks. Depending on the number of other procedures, overall recovery may be up to 3 – 4 weeks. Most patients resume regular home activities by two weeks and resume exercise and by for 6 weeks.
